The girls golf season came an official end when Emily Dvorak, who shot a 98, fell short of qualifying for state. Dvorak was named to the South Suburban Red All Conference team.

Swinging through conference and into Regionals, the Stro’s encountered many tough competitors,” stated coach Bradley Fisher.

The teams that competed against at Regionals included Sandburg, Marist, Mother McAuley, Hindsdale Central, Stagg, Oak Lawn and Reavis.

The regional tournament was held at Carriage Greens course in Darien on October 3.

The sectional tournament was held at Prairie Bluff Golf Course on October 8.

Unfortunately Emily Edmiston was not able to make the tournament, Emily Dvorak shot a 98 ending the season.

Fisher feels good about the team’s future. “I have a strong group of returning upperclassmen and a good group of underclassman contributing to the team next year.”

He’s excited to see how the next years team is gonna look.
